Do you know how to type without looking at the keys? I can help you.
Practicing is the hardest part, but if you're typing on Wetpaint a lot, you'll get all your practicing in! (My practice came from writing my stories).
First, the keyboard. It looks like this, or close to this, right?
Begin with putting your four fingers on the "home row." The letters ASDFJKL;. Curve your fingers, as shown in the picture, over the keys.
Type the keys T and R with the left pointer finger. With your right pointer finger, press the keys Y and U. Use the middle finger of both hands to press E and I. The ring fingers; O and W. Finally, press P and Q with what? Yes, the pinky fingers. To press the enter key, use your right pinky. To press either of the shift keys, use your pinkies.
Now, let's try these keys. Open up a new word document and type asdf. Then type jkl;. Type "was." Type "pad." Type both of those words capitalized. Now press enter without looking. Type "were." Type "tada." Type both of those words capitalized.
Now, practice typing a letter, without looking, then look back and see if that was the letter you wanted to press. This is more fun, huh? There are computer CDs that have typing lessons, but, beware, they can get boring, also.
