Make Sure God is in your Life

The bible is a great symbol of God's love and is His messages to us. If we didn't have the bible, we couldn't understand how to love Him.

Sometimes, it may seem like God is not in yor life. Maybe a loved one dies or someone gets hurt. This is the best time to pray. Read this very famous poem:


Footsteps In The Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

You may want to print this out and hang it on your wall. It is very meaningful - and true. Of course, it is not literal. This is why you must have faith. Faith means believing in Him even when you cannot see him. This is hard, and sometimes you may feel sceptical that God is really there. Believe He is. Because He is.

Prayers are like your phone call to God. God will hear you. He answers always. Sometimes, the answer is no. But no comes in many forms. "No, not now." or "No, it is not in My plan." And he does have a plan. Pray that you will follow it. Pray that he will guide you through it. Prayer
